Sunagakure no Sato.
A place she'd been born in, raised in, trained in. She'd become a ninja there, made her reputation there - dangerous kunoichi sister of the Godaime Kazekage.
The streets.
She'd frequented them from a young age, always walking around and staring at all the people. They were so much different from her - happy, untroubled, at peace.
So much difference between such similar people.
Of course, there was the thing where her youngest brother was the Kazekage and had the Shukaku - that certainly accounted for some of it. But now, he was almost the same as any of them.
Almost.
But she? She was like them, only harder, faster, stronger. That was her motto, too:
Do it, and if you fail the first time, come back harder, faster, stronger.
And she followed it to the tee. But now, the streets were different for her - nobody talked to her.
How troublesome.

Talim walked through the streets aimlessly she couldn't really find anything worth her time to do.She decided to look inside random stores and at vendors carts(that's what they are right?).

Temari chuckled at her previous thought. Was she really starting to pick up the habits and language impediments from that lazy crybaby?
How troublesome.
The more she thought about it, though, the more she realized that it was a very handy and appropriate saying. She sniffed, never liking to be outsmarted by the crybaby.
At that moment, she saw a girl wandering around, looking a little lost. When she leaned over to peer at one of the carts, she saw the vendor who owned that particular one get a very... uhh, appealing view of the girl. Her anger flared.
God, she hated these stupid, perverted old men! And that girl looked so innocent, too! Well, she wasn't gonna let this one get away.
She marched right up to the man and poked him hard in the forehead.
Listen up, pervert. she snarled. Look at any woman like that again and you'll have to deal with the full wrath of the Godaime Kazekage's elder sister. The vendor looked frightened, squeaked his apologies, and hurried away.
Sniffing again, she turned to the girl. Sorry about that. she said matter-of-factly. I just can't stand perverts.

"Uhm it's okay?"Talim said not sure what to say."Thanks."Talim smlied warmly at the older girl. She was sure she'd seen her around before then remembered that It was at the library with Usagi."Have I seen you before?" she asked.

Temari gave the other girl a smile as well, not as warm as some, but the most she could manage to a near stranger.
Yes, she'd seen this girl before - in a library, or something to that matter. She remembered that Gaara had been there. Temari nodded.
Yeah, I think so. she replied, one hand traveling up to her hip as always. Then again, I'm always walking around, so you might've just seen me pass you on the street.
Perfectly true, too. The eldest Sabaku was a wanderer on the road of life.
...whoa. Since when was she so poetic?
What are you doing here? Temari asked to get over the initial awkwardness. It was always hard for her to talk to people she didn't know - especially if she was suspicious that they were from another village.
Long story.

"Well I have a couple of friends in this village so I decided to drop in on them perhaps with a gift."Talim said it was a perfectly good question to ask when your from a different village.(sorry I'm not typing so much my fingers kill.)

A couple of good friends? That sounded interesting. Temari wondered who could possibly know this girl. Well, at least she'd been right on one thing: this girl wasn't from Suna.
Interesting. she commented. Tell me, what village are you from?
If she was from Konoha, Temari might just have to go on a mission.
How troublesome.

"Oh,I'm from the Iwa."Talim said brushing her bangs to the side so she could see her head band.'Mon cherie why is she asking so many questions' Inferno said inside her head. 'She only asked two.' Talim thought.

Temari raised an eyebrow at that - the hitai-ate was of Iwa, sure, but she still had a weird feeling about this girl. Something... something was different about her. Something that reminded her of Gaara.
It wasn't a really good feeling.
I see. Hey, I haven't introduced myself yet, have I? Sorry. I'm Sabaku no Temari, sister of the Kazekage. Temari realized and extended her hand in a wave of hello.
Sister of the Kazekage. Intimidation was the key in these cases. Temari's eyes, unlike her bright, open, friendly face, were closed and hard. Truthfully, she was getting the creeps standing next to this girl. Not that there was anything about her in particular - just the general aura around her...
Something different.
Temari brushed her own bangs away, and though they immediately fell back into place, it provided her the necessary time of showing her own hitai-ate, the Sunagakure symbol engraved into it and also hid her eyes for a moment so they could narrow without being noticed.
She didn't know who this girl was, but Temari was keeping an eye on her.

There it was - the look in her eye. Insolence, arrogance, defiance, a glitter of annoyance. Temari's eyes narrowed and hardened, if even possible. She was really starting to dislike this girl. Why did that happen so often these days? She was the fourth girl Temari had met and disliked in the past week or so.
How troublesome.
She cursed inwardly - augh! She was getting angry at herself for picking up, even mentally, the catchphrase of that lazy genius. In fact, so many emotions swirled around inside her that her eyes became cloudy.
However, her face still seemed perfectly at ease - a poker face, a trick she'd learned years and years ago. She continued to smile in a friendly manner at the girl.
Talim, ne? Interesting. Unusual these days - that's good.
Okay, that was a total fib. It was unusual, yes - but that wasn't good. It was always better to blend it; shinobi weren't supposed to stand out.
Ha. Ha.

"Yeah, unusual.I was named after Talim the last priestess of the wind deity."Talim said knowing her name was 'interesting' to put it as nice as possible she hated it.

Temari's eyes sparkled in ill-meant humor. Yep, Talim was really starting to get under her skin. Without knowing it, and totally not meaning to, one of her hands traveled around her back and grasped hold of her huge fan.
Reflex.
She caught herself just in time, keeping the hand there but not moving the fan anywhere. Precaution.
She mentally yelled at herself - She's innocent! She's innocent! Don't hurt her! She's innocent!
She closed her eyes in an effort of supreme will not to take out her fan and start banging away at Talim.
Argh, it was hard. No - she wouldn't, couldn't, shouldn't say it!
Oh, forget it.
How troublesome.

Talim noticed that Temari was reaching for her fan.She really didn't want to fight and her face showed it. 'Why does this happen?' she thought 'Because if you truly want to make it as a ninja you must not trust anyone. It's what war does' Inferno said back 'Why should I trust you? Your a demon.' her eyes were taking on a sad expression at the mention of 'war' 'Why not kill them with kindness it's better than sending people out and having them die' she thought.
