Tsukiko was pulled out of their thoughts when she heard Kabuto speak. She really wasn't paying attention, nor did she really care what he thought. She didn't even care to look at either of them. She was still frustrated and mad that she had been spy-ed on, and no matter what Orochimaru said, she felt as if Kabuto had been babysitting her now.
She looked down the dim hall that layed in front of them, she slouched a little farther down the wall, right now wishing she could just be sucked into it. She thought about some things Gaara said, about Naruto. How he could be happy with himself, even though he had be out casted for such a long time.
She shook her head, before pushing herself off the wall and looked at the ground, which was absorbing the melting ice. "Shall we continue then?" She asked, finally bringing her eyes to look at Orochimaru, then Kabuto. Her eyes held no emotion as she looked in between the two, waiting for one of them to go first.

There could be some trouble in the future. That was the conclusion that Orochimaru drew from what his perceptive eyes were able to spy and transform into impressions. He was not new at construing human psychology from the smallest reactions someone had, and he was usually good at it.
However, the only way to truly see the future was to walk into it. Knowing that simple fact was a matter of common sense. And Orochimaru liked to stir the future into happening.
"Have I?" he asked softly as he went past Kabuto, barely bothering to look at his loyal follower. That state of ignorance told Kabuto that, if he so wished, he could withdraw now.
He next approached Tsukiko, but did not hold his eyes on her for long either, he only drifted by, beginning to lead the way once more. Now that the small issue of reports was in place, for the most part, he could focus on more practical things.
"Your room won't differ from those of others," he explained to Tsukiko, as he slowed his pace a little, for her to follow. "We switch bases often, so you won't spend much time in there."
